The first which we have been helping parents in Kapiti with for many years is The Incredible Year Parent.
Incredible Years Parent is a 14-session programme for parents of children aged 3-8, which provides parents with skills to better support children, creating a positive home environment to promote children’s social and emotional competence and communication skills.
And a recent addition to our Kete is the Incredible Years Autism programme.
Incredible Years Autism is a 14 session programme for caregivers of children aged 2-5 on the autism spectrum. Together, they aim to promote children’s emotional regulation, positive social interactions and language development.
